ADHD An Introduction

This course offers an introductory overview of ADHD, blending knowledge with personal experience. Participants will gain a foundational understanding of ADHD symptoms and manifestations while also appreciating the lived neurodivergent experience through Emily's unique perspective as a certified coach and educator.

Learning Objectives:

  • Define ADHD: Understand the core symptoms and presentations of ADHD in children and adults.

  • Recognize Manifestations: Learn how ADHD impacts daily life, including challenges with focus and emotional regulation.

  • Debunk Myths: Challenge common misconceptions and stereotypes about ADHD.

  • Implement Strategies: Acquire practical strategies for supporting students with ADHD both inside the classroom and at home.
