This practical session explores how Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) presents in post-primary students and the impact it can have on learning, behaviour, and wellbeing. Teachers will gain a clear understanding of the challenges these students face, alongside evidence-based strategies to support focus, organisation, and emotional regulation in the classroom. The session will also highlight strengths and positive attributes of students with ADHD, offering practical approaches to help them thrive within the post-primary setting.
Hosted by: Clare Education Centre, Tralee Education Centre and Navan Education Centre.
